The supplement contains concentrated lithium. Although the influence of lithium on the functioning of marine organisms remains unknown, its deposits are regularly consumed in the aquarium. This element is naturally present in seawater, so to provide aquarium inhabitants with conditions as close as possible to the natural environment, lithium must be dosed regularly in the aquarium.
Dosage
- 1 ml of the product increases the lithium content by 0.01 mg / l (ppm) in 100 liters (27 US gal) of water.
- The recommended lithium content in aquarium water is 0.15 – 0.20 mg / l (ppm).
The dosage should be based on the consumption of microelements. Note that each aquarium is different and the final dosage will depend on the coral sand and individual aquarium needs. Both a deficiency and an excess of micronutrients will affect the aquarium inhabitants, therefore the dosage should be selected and adjusted based on regular Aquaforest Lab water tests.
